Role Summary:

  • Develop and enhance the logistics scope of G3 Global’s SAP Business All-in-One solution including baseline and Industry best practices.
  • Deployment of the product offering to new clients employing SAP Focus ASAP methodology
  • Provide subject matter expertise to pre-sales activities as part of G3 Global’s business development
  • Individual core activities and responsibilities
  • Provide functional SAP capabilities to internal product development, client base and management in the Commercial business areas including:

SAP capability is defined to be:-

  • Business Process optimization and simplification. Required to gain a deep understanding of SAP business processes and operations and be expected to work with client users and G3 department heads to develop new processes and independently be able to advise on improvements and simplifications.
  • Deliver system changes in a qualitative and timely manner and also be able to deliver process and functional changes.
  • Work with the G3 Global product owner to define and maintain the integrity of the G3 Global SAP Business All-in-One Template
  • Resolve moderately complex SAP systems issues resulting from business change, user error or incomplete configuration.
  • Own and manage the complete life cycle of change whilst working to established processes and procedures.
  • Produce system and process documentation using the SAP business composer solution.
  • Provide day-to-day advice in system usage and operations.
  • Provide user training as required, both formal and informal.
  • Demonstrate Service Delivery Quality and Performance.

Essential experience/qualifications for this role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 full project lifecycles and at least 5 years experience in SAP SD and MM configuration and support in version ECC6.  Experience in the media or professional services industry, especially of printed media, music, home entertainment and/or Royalties & Copyright, would be an advantage.

  • Sales and Distribution
  • Order to Billing processes
  • Master Data
  • Sales order & Billing user exits
  • Output determination, account assignment & Copy control
  • With specific emphasis on Pricing, Reporting and Interfacing
  • Pricing: At a minimum pricing conditions, condition tables, access sequence, pricing procedure,  pricing routines.  Preferably experience in defining, configuring and supporting complex pricing solutions,  driven by formulae, routines & requirements

Reporting

  • Sales information systems: Defining infrastructures, update rules and reconciling against  underlying documents
  • Materials Management
  • Purchase to Pay processes
  • Master Data
  • Core Inventory Management
  • Output determination, account assignment & Copy control

Preferred but not essential experience/qualifications for this role

Reporting

  • Knowledge of Business Warehouse would be advantageous
  • Experience in designing and supporting complex sales interface solutions to 3rd party sales reporting systems e.g. Business Objects
  • Ability to analyse statistical data
  • Working knowledge of iDoc management and processing
