G3 is looking for dynamic individuals with deep skills and experience in any of the following applications SAP IS:U,  Oracle Utilities / SPL Customer Care and Billing (CC&B),  Oracle Utilities / Lodestar Customer Choice Suite.  The ideal candidates will be dynamic individuals capable of working in teams and leading functional / technical discussions with business users.  You should be able to develop creative solutions to business problems using your skills and experience with these applications.  You will be required to train and lead less experienced project team members through the implementation life-cycle.  This role may require extensive travel across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.  The following experience is required for these roles:

  • Working experience with a consulting firm or software vendor specialising in software solutions for the energy and utilities industries
  • A minimum of 5 years and 2 full project life cycles on SAP IS:Oil, SAP IS:U, Oracle Utilities / SPL Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) or Oracle Utilities / Lodestar Customer Choice Suite implementation projects
  • You must have worked as either a functional or technical specialist with one of these products and be able to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of your area of specialisation
  • A thorough understanding of the configuration, extension and/or development capabilities for these products and how the various customisation options can be employed to minimise implementation costs and maximise the business value from these industry applications
  • A sound understanding of the energy or utilities industry business processes
  • Experience in working with offshore development centres
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL, ABAP, Java, Rules Language or ASP will be a distinct advantage
