SAP Financials Enables SonyBMG France to remove legacy systems and improve ROI
14/1/2008 – G3 Global, a company that develops, implements, and supports products and services for SAP in the Media sector, announced today that it has successfully implemented SAP Financials at SonyBMG.
SonyBMG faced the issue of an under-performing Financial system that no longer met the needs of the business and had been announced as end of life.
G3 Global worked closely with the team at SonyBMG to understand the existing and future growth requirements of the business and positioned SAP Financials. The outcome provided SonyBMG with a best of breed financials package in addition to solving their reconciliation and reporting issues. In addition to successfully implementing full SAP Financials within an 8 month period, G3 also provided SonyBMG with a Royalty Ledger system. The “Royalty Ledger” is a unique solution developed by G3 Global and provides a solution to account royalty and cost information to Authors / Rights owners / Artists and any of the related rights sharers in an accurate, auditable and timely manner.
