“An SAP ERP solution for as little as £150K? Tell me more”

“Because publishing is becoming more business-oriented each day with more examination of the bottom line, it’s harder to break out than ever.”

 Nicholas Sparks

We have been working for some time with the SAP All-in-One solution intended to address the requirements of the small and medium sized enterprise. We have a range of baseline products to serve different industry sectors that can be implemented from as little as £150K and even for reasonably complex engineer to order manufacturing businesses from as little as £220K. This delivers something like 50 to 60 of the most common business scenarios in a pre-packaged solution fully tested and documented which can be implemented quickly.

The use of best practice templates and scenario based building block techniques results in a new price point for adopting SAP R/3.These baseline scenarios cover the Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, Finance and Analytics functions that are core to any company operating in the book publishing industry.

In future blogs we will describe how this forms the foundation for growth in the size and complexity or your business.

SAP has around 36,000 installations with 10m users in 13,500 organisations spread across 120 countries. Of these some 45% fall into the small and medium sector. The same screens, transactions and processing options used by the likes of Random House, Bertelsmann, Simon & Schuster and the Oxford University Press are now available at an affordable price to the SME sector.

The worlds largest independent review site for book publishing software has this to say about SAP……“We like SAP for its ability to integrate all aspects of a world-wide operation. It offers unparalleled customizability along with powerful productivity and management tools for publishers”

SAP All-in-One from G3 Global provides the foundation for a comprehensive vertical market book publishing solution at an affordable price point for the small and medium enterprise making it much easier for them to ‘Break Out’.

In future blogs we will expand on this premise as well as describing the implementation experience.
