Sharif El-Borgi, Flex Analyst Developer, has been a software engineer since 2005 when he worked in the finance sector with Thomson Reuters to maintain and develop elements of their enterprise system NDA (Numerical Data Architecture). Following this, he moved into the Financial Media broadcasting sector working with clients such as Aviva, SABMiller, BP, Shell and Diageo to deliver webcasts as well as improve the webcast platform by delivering high quality webcast applications. Sharif’s primary role is to deliver high-end Rich Internet Applications in Flex Actionscript, a technology he has worked extensively in since its early releases in 2003. He is also involved in integrating these applications with backend systems such as SAP through the use of Java. Outside of his day to day work Sharif enjoys watching and playing sports and has a general interest in technology, with a special passion for designing within Adobe Photoshop.
